About the position

The Electrical Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently performing civil and electrical duties at the project site. This role involves operating various types of heavy and light equipment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining equipment and job site organization.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate light and heavy equipment including backhoe, loader, roller, and rock truck.
• Perform pre-inspection checks and monitor equipment during operation.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing loads and report results from pre-inspections.
• Maintain job site and materials in an organized manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mobile and stationary equipment.
• Notify supervisor for refueling and report any malfunctions.
• Climb into heavy equipment using attached ladders and clean the interior cab area daily.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by OSHA regulations.

Requirements

• 0-2 years' experience with backhoe, loader, roller, and rock truck for Level I.
• 0-3 years' experience with blade, excavator, and dozer for Level II.
• 1-3 years' experience with trencher and cranes for Level III.
• 4+ years' experience with 250 Ton crane/crawler for Level IV.
• Must be certified on site for all types of heavy/light equipment.
• CCO certification required for crane operators.
• CDL certifications are a plus for A/T cranes.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home as required.

Nice-to-haves

• Intermediate knowledge in safety training, industry standards, and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of blueprints.
