About the position
The Electrical or Automation Engineering Intern position at Novelis offers an opportunity for students to gain hands-on industry experience in a leading aluminum recycling and rolling company. The internship, lasting approximately 12 weeks, allows interns to work on special projects, engage in research, and collaborate with full-time engineers to identify cost-saving opportunities. This role is designed for students who are currently enrolled in an accredited university and are looking to enhance their engineering skills in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Report out on projects to the engineering team
- Seek out data and conduct research to complete projects
- Investigate areas for potential improvements
- Collaborate with full-time engineers to analyze and brainstorm cost-saving projects
Requirements
- Enrolled in an accredited 4-year University
- Must be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or recent Graduate
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer
