About the position

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Electrical Engineer to develop requirements for suppliers to design complex software-intensive Avionics subsystems for the C-5M Galaxy and/or C-130J Hercules aircraft platforms. The role involves managing the development, testing, and integration of these subsystems into the aircraft's avionics system, contributing to the safety and effectiveness of critical missions.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements for suppliers to design Avionics subsystems.
• Manage the development of software-intensive subsystems.
• Test and integrate subsystems into aircraft avionics systems.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Familiarity with Higher Level Programming Languages and/or Python.
• Knowledge of electronic design.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a government security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with modeling tools or analysis tools such as MATLAB or SimuLink.
• Knowledge of Windows Office Applications.
• Experience with Unix/Linux.
