About the position

The Electrical Preconstruction Key Account Manager at Weifield Group Contracting is responsible for managing client relationships and lead generation in the electrical construction sector. This role focuses on targeting Design Build and Design Assist projects, ensuring alignment with company goals, and leading the estimating team to provide strategic project win strategies. The position emphasizes the importance of building relationships with General Contractors, Architects, and Engineers while embodying the company's core values of People, Advance Process, Community, and Trusting Relationships.

Responsibilities

• Seek out and target Design Build and Design Assist work
• Manage lead generation, client strategy, and top target projects
• Choose targeted projects that align with company goals and client strategy
• Get Weifield on preferred bid lists and lead all client RFPs and RFQs
• Add value to clients by providing a project win strategy to the estimating team
• Manage estimates and estimators on the team
• Lead relationships with General Contractors, Architects, and Engineers
• Demonstrate and embrace company values: People, Advance Process, Community, and Trusting Relationships

Requirements

• Have a journeyman's license or equivalent electrical engineering, field experience, or a construction management degree
• Excellent time management and project tasking skills
• Possess an entrepreneurial approach to problem solving with high attention to detail
• High proficiency in Accubid and MS Office
• Possess excellent written and oral communication and editing skills
• Be highly curious, self-motivated, and flexible
