About the position

The Electrical Process Engineer role at Anheuser-Busch is a hands-on position focused on continuous improvement within a world-class manufacturing environment. The engineer will be responsible for creating and executing action plans to meet critical metrics, troubleshooting equipment issues, and fostering relationships with technicians to influence change and drive technology growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to support improvement in safety and quality performance.
  • Support plant operations by maintaining process control systems.
  • Provide training and sophisticated troubleshooting to the site.
  • Implement standards at the site that ensure the global consistency of manufacturing systems.
  • Establish and maintain close relationships with Plant operations team, Plant quality team, and the CAPEX Engineering Team.
  • Own the implementation of process improvement and/or innovation-based projects.

Requirements

  • Experience as Systems Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Manager, Computer Engineer
  • Experience in Industrial Automation using Rockwell / Siemens/ B&R Automation PLCs or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Network Communication protocols (Ethernet, DeviceNet)
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical system drawings.
  • Sophisticated troubleshooting skills with high-speed manufacturing equipment such as AC/DC motors, VFDs, PLCs, servo motors, and PLC I/O modules.
  • Experience with instrumentation
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation; technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to extract, evaluate, and utilize data for process improvement from applicable systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related technical degree or technical certification equivalent
  • Experience with Siemens, Rockwell Industrial Automation software, or equivalent software.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting experience in high-speed packaging and/or highly automated continuous process environment preferred.
  • Experience in systems configuration and maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP.
  • Experience with coaching and training skilled trades in a unionized environment.
  • Utilize problem solving/6 Sigma lean manufacturing to achieve both financial/operational performance targets.
  • Support CAPEX Engineers for viability and cost return projects.
