About the position

The Electrical Engineer will work under the direct supervision of a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and test electrical systems. This role focuses on electrical starter and control panel design, switchboard fabrication, and overseeing manufacturing plant facilities. The engineer will also be responsible for the installation and technical support of DDC controller-based hardware and software configurations, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems and control panels.
• Oversee the fabrication of switchboards and manufacturing plant facilities.
• Install and provide technical support for DDC controller-based hardware and software configurations.
• Prepare design documents including electrical data, drawings, and operation manuals for new and current product platforms.
• Review factory orders to ensure compliance with standards and engineering principles.
• Prepare documentation for special projects, including drawings and specifications.
• Conduct hands-on testing and troubleshooting of electrical panels and systems.
• Program and configure control systems for HVAC products.
• Provide technical support to various departments including Sales, Warranty Service, and Quality Control.
• Assist the Purchasing Department in sourcing components and evaluating vendor quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in HVAC or manufacturing.
• Sound electrical knowledge and engineering practices, especially in the HVAC industry.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and PowerPoint.
• Experience with PLC / DDC programming is an advantage.
