Audubon, an EPC company based in Houston, is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the performance and compliance of contractors involved in the power systems (both medium voltage and low voltage) and distribution within our LNG facility. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in gas processing or LNG facilities to monitor and guide the engineering processes effectively. As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the EPC contractor delivers process engineering work and deliverables that meet established standards, specifications, FEED design, and contractual requirements. You will collaborate closely with the Engineering team to ensure that the overall design is safe, fit for purpose, and operates reliably. Your technical expertise will be essential during HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, and MOC reviews, where you will provide insights and recommendations to enhance project safety and efficiency. You will be responsible for maintaining the technical integrity of the engineering and design within your discipline, answering technical queries and RFIs from contractors, and participating in key design reviews to ensure readiness and compliance with project standards. This position requires a proactive approach to monitoring changes against the baseline scope and ensuring that the project is executed in accordance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project schedules. Your contributions will be vital in driving the success of our projects and maintaining Audubon's reputation for operational excellence in the energy industry.
