About the position

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the project's requirements and breaking them down into manageable tasks. You will collaborate closely with the design team to determine the scope, budget, and staffing needs for each project. Your expertise will be crucial in writing scopes of work for electrical design, which will be based on preliminary reviews and meetings with clients. You will also prepare engineering studies and schematic designs for new systems while analyzing the operation of existing systems to ensure optimal performance. A significant part of your role will involve presenting complex engineering analyses clearly and effectively to both the owner and design teams. You will document existing conditions meticulously and perform complex and detailed troubleshooting to resolve various issues that may arise during the project lifecycle. This includes addressing conflicting design requirements, code issues, varying design options, and complex condition requirements that may impact the project's success. Additionally, you will be tasked with researching non-routine code issues and obtaining interpretations from code officials to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Your ability to produce sketches and system schematics for complicated design tasks, such as the layout of electrical rooms, will be essential in delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
