About the position

The Electrical Project Engineer (EPE) position at RQC, LLC. involves managing and overseeing electrical projects at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The role requires developing project plans, coordinating with various team members, and ensuring effective communication with vendors and clients. The EPE will be responsible for project documentation, daily reports, and supporting estimates and submittals, with a focus on fast-track commercial construction projects, particularly in the Department of Defense market.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate with other Assistant Project Engineers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Project Managers.
• Oversee project documentation and buyout processes.
• Prepare daily reports and look-ahead schedules.
• Support estimates and submittals for projects.
• Communicate effectively with project team members, vendors, and clients.

Requirements

• Three or more years of experience as an Electrician or Assistant Electrical Project Engineer.
• Strong understanding of construction flow and principles.
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code, NFPA 72, and building and electrical construction materials.
• Familiarity with construction management tools and documentation.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and the Internet.
• Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Primavera 3/6, Oracle, BIM, Revit, and Bluebeam software.
