Responsibilities

• Design and develop specialized Industrial Control Systems based on client needs.
• Create and revise electrical schematics and evaluate proposed designs.
• Develop bills of materials and provide material and manufacturing cost estimates.
• Order materials and components by creating purchase orders.
• Work with shop floor personnel to ensure builds are on schedule and meet specifications.
• Travel to customer facilities for data collection, troubleshooting, and commissioning of equipment.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree or Technical School Diploma.
• Direct experience working with clients to design and develop Industrial Control Systems.
• Proficiency in panel design and build using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Ability to work with salespeople to develop quotes and proposals.
• Solid understanding of Electrical/Electronic Local, State, and Federal Codes.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with PLC Programming, HMI Interface, Relays, and Servo-Controls.
• Ability to start-up, test, and troubleshoot Industrial Control Systems using voltmeters, ammeters, and oscilloscopes.
