About the position

Burkhead Electric is looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager - Client Relations to act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams. This role is crucial for ensuring that electrical projects are executed smoothly from inception to completion, focusing on client satisfaction and effective project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
• Coordinate project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure materials and resources are aligned with project needs.
• Assist customers in designing projects that align with their vision and compliance standards.
• Provide ongoing field crew support and ensure smooth communication between all parties involved.
• Manage time and material budgets while identifying opportunities to streamline processes.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends, new products, and techniques to offer innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Previous experience in project coordination or sales, preferably in the electrical or construction industries.
• State of Iowa Electrical License (Preferred).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC), local electrical codes, and installation techniques.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Procore, ServiceTitan) and budgeting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
• 5+ years of electrical trade experience is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
