About the position

The Electrical Project Manager will oversee and manage electrical construction projects within the industrial division of a leading electrical contractor. This role requires a strong background in industrial electrical construction and project management, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and lead electrical projects from start to finish.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Review and interpret electrical blueprints and specifications.
  • Procure materials, equipment, and services necessary for project completion.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and budget.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Manage and mentor a team of electrical related professionals.
  • Prepare project reports and other documentation as required.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in industrial electrical construction.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the electrical construction industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in project management software and MS Office.
  • Familiarity with construction regulations and safety standards.
  • Prior experience in the field as an electrician is preferred, however, not required.
