About the position

The Electrical Robotics Engineer position at Saint-Gobain is part of the Essentials of Manufacturing (EOM) Development Program, designed to prepare participants for a dynamic career in manufacturing. This 18-month program offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to various manufacturing environments across North America, focusing on innovation and the next manufacturing revolution. Participants will work on priority projects, develop technical and business skills, and have opportunities for global experiences upon completion.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Essentials of Manufacturing (EOM) Development Program for 18 months.
• Work on priority projects that challenge existing manufacturing practices.
• Engage in hands-on learning in operational environments and classroom-based E-learnings.
• Travel to different plants in North America every three months to learn about various businesses and operations.
• Collaborate with a dedicated mentor for career development and guidance.

Requirements

• Completed B.S. in an engineering discipline (Electrical/Robotics).
• Desire to relocate and travel; valid passport for international travel required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and step out of comfort zones.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in lean manufacturing practices.
• Familiarity with data analytics and project management.
