About the position

The Electrical Robotics Engineer position at Saint-Gobain is part of the Essentials of Manufacturing (EOM) Development Program, designed to prepare participants for a dynamic career in manufacturing. This 18-month program offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to various manufacturing operations across North America, with a focus on innovation and the next manufacturing revolution. Participants will work on priority projects, develop technical and business skills, and have opportunities for global experiences within the company.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Essentials of Manufacturing (EOM) Development Program for 18 months.
• Work on priority projects that challenge existing manufacturing practices.
• Engage in hands-on learning and classroom-based E-learnings.
• Travel to different plants in North America every three months to learn about operations and build camaraderie.
• Collaborate with a dedicated mentor for career development and guidance.

Requirements

• Completed B.S. in an engineering discipline (Electrical/Robotics).
• Desire to relocate and travel; valid passport required for international travel.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and step out of comfort zones.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in lean manufacturing practices.
• Familiarity with data analytics and project management.
