About the position

The Commercial Electrical Service Account Manager at Carolina Voltage is responsible for driving sales growth by building and maintaining client relationships, promoting electrical services, and identifying new business opportunities. This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in electrical systems and exceptional communication skills to understand and meet clients' needs effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads through market research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Understand client's electrical needs and offer appropriate services and solutions.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals to clients, addressing their specific requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
  • Collaborate with operations team to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Consistently monitor industry trends, competitor activities and market developments.
  • Coordinate with General Manager to develop and execute strategies to drive sales, enhance profitability, and improve customer and employee satisfaction.
  • Uphold our commitment to excellence, delivering exceptional service to clients and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience in Commercial Electrical sales or a related industry
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Strong knowledge of Electrical systems and services
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, email, and laptop/tablet
  • Initiative-taking and purposeful with a track record of achieving sales targets
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Customer-focused with a dedication to delivering exceptional service.
