About the position

We are seeking a dynamic Aftermarket Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the process automation industry, focusing on feed and asphalt sectors. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth by developing and implementing strategies to maximize aftermarket parts sales, while managing customer and product lifecycles effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to increase aftermarket parts revenue in the feed and asphalt automation sectors.
  • Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts to expand market share.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer habits, and competitive activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Implement and oversee customer lifecycle management strategies to maximize long-term value and retention.
  • Develop product lifecycle plans for aftermarket parts, ensuring optimal inventory management and product obsolescence strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for new or improved aftermarket offerings.
  • Grow, manage and motivate a team of internal sales representatives.
  • Set clear performance goals and regularly evaluate team members' progress.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance the team's product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors.
  • Provide technical and commercial support to customers and sales representatives.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of process automation systems.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and competitor offerings.
  • Collaborate with all functions to provide market insights for new product development.
  • Prepare and manage the annual operating budget for the aftermarket parts department.
  • Analyze sales, expenses, and inventory to maintain profit goals.
  • Develop pricing strategies that balance profitability with customer satisfaction.
  • Optimize parts inventory levels.
  • Implement strategies to minimize obsolescence while ensuring adequate stock for customer needs.
