About the position

The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for managing jobs and work orders within the electrical construction industry, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This role involves overseeing installation, alterations, and repairs of electrical systems in multi-family residential settings, while achieving division goals and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage jobs and work orders assigned by the Division Manager.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and control paperwork related to assigned jobs, including time sheets and production reports.
  • Attend weekly meetings to discuss workload and project updates.
  • Review and verify productivity of assigned jobs and work orders.
  • Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are on-site and properly organized.
  • Monitor safety and security of materials and equipment on projects.
  • Prepare and approve estimates and design/build projects within authorized limits.
  • Supervise assigned job site employees to ensure project completion.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license as required by job conditions.
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent training.
  • Applicable federal, state, and local certifications as required by job conditions.
  • Experience in electrical construction and management of jobs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with commercial and industrial electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in construction.
