About the position

As an Electrical Systems Engineer at John Deere, you will be responsible for the design and development of electrical systems and embedded system architecture for new Crawler products. This role involves specifying and selecting electrical system components, developing requirement documents, and diagnosing field issues, contributing to the innovation and efficiency of agricultural machinery.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems and embedded system architecture for new Crawler products.
• Specify and select electrical system components and controller components.
• Develop electrical systems and embedded systems requirement documents.
• Diagnose and resolve field issues.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of professional experience in electrical systems development.
• 2 or more years of product development experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• 4 or more years of professional experience in electrical systems development.
• 1 or more years of experience with software requirements and system design.
• Experience with off-road equipment electronic design, CAN communication bus interfaces, and electromagnetic compatibility.
• Experience with both electronic hardware and software.
• A background in construction equipment operation.
