About the position

ManTech is seeking an intermediate Systems Engineer to support the F-16 IAIS Product Support Integrator effort at Hill AFB, Utah. The role involves providing technical expertise in the research, development, acquisition, and sustainment of the F-16 Improved Avionics Intermediate Shop (IAIS) suite of testers, as well as supporting engineering activities and programmatic milestones through various documentation and technical reviews.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in research and development, acquisition, and sustainment of F-16 IAIS suite of testers.
• Support engineering activities and programmatic milestones through the development and review of engineering documentation.
• Provide technical support, coordination, and recommendations to the Government Supply Chain Office.
• Conduct detailed technical studies and analysis of current and future requirements relating to design and mission effectiveness.
• Support and participate in systems engineering technical reviews through documentation preparation and review of criteria.
• Perform system/subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, and system/subsystem integration and testing.
• Interface with the Supply Chain Manager to manage engineering tasking and analyze technical problems.
• Support the Engineering Change Proposal process by reviewing proposals and advising the Program Office.
• Coordinate program meetings, maintain documentation, and provide ad-hoc administrative support.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate completion of engineering activities.

Requirements

• 7 years of systems engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or additional experience
• Extensive knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
• Experience in requirements definition, modular testing, and documentation origination
• Experience in systems integration and testing to verify required performance
• Assessment of change proposals for technical merit
• Database design and development
• Knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of DoD/USAF F-16 IAIS programs and capabilities
• Knowledge of systems development lifecycle, network/systems design and implementation, virtualization, and cloud technologies
• DAU Engineering Level I or higher certification
• DoDD 8140/8570 compliant and certified as required
• Agile Scrum Master
• Knowledge of Automatic Test Equipment/Automatic Test Systems
• Master's degree in a related field
