About the position

The Electrical Systems Engineering Team Lead will oversee the Electrical Systems Engineering team throughout all project phases, from concept to validation and warranty. This role focuses on developing a skilled team of electrical engineers and technicians, ensuring effective coordination and resource planning for US projects, and establishing engineering processes and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Electrical Systems Engineering team activities across all project phases.
• Further develop and manage team members with electrical engineering or technician backgrounds.
• Coordinate and plan resources for the Electrical Systems Engineering Team for US projects.
• Create and establish engineering processes, guidelines, and work instructions.
• Ensure cost and schedule compliance for assigned work packages and initiate escalations as necessary.
• Participate in supplier negotiations, First Article Inspections, and bid projects.

Requirements

• Completed BS degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience as an Electrical Systems Engineer.
• Experience in the Railway Industry preferred.
• Proven management experience in an engineering team or department is advantageous.
• High communication skills in an international working environment.
