About the position
The Industrial Electrician position at a manufacturing company in Carrollton, Kentucky, involves maintaining and installing electrical systems within the facility. Responsibilities
- Maintain the entire plant's electrical systems and install new electrical systems without supervision to improve safety, productivity, and quality.
- Understand and troubleshoot AC/DC motor controls, PLC, electrical drives, and high voltage systems while adhering to site voltage maximums.
- Interpret electrical/electronic schematics effectively.
- Follow all safety procedures in accordance with Company Regulations and State and Federal Regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical troubleshooting in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent education.
- Familiarity with PLCs and SCADA systems.
- Experience with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Nice-to-haves
- Military experience is considered a plus.
