About the position

The Panel Wiring/Fabrication position focuses on inspecting and performing electrical and mechanical repairs for industrial control-based equipment. The role emphasizes wiring panels, troubleshooting issues, and mechanical assembly within the test and repair department, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform panel wiring, including wire cutting, stripping, and soldering.
• Assemble parts and components based on specifications and blueprints.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues within the equipment.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics to wire systems correctly.
• Ensure high standards of assembly and wiring are met, with a strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in mechanical assembly and electrical panel wiring.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• Good manual dexterity for working with hand tools.
• Effective in communicating technical information.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for an entire shift.
