About the position

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in both residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and ensure compliance with local codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Work with high voltage and low voltage systems as required.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including handymen and carpenters, to complete projects effectively.
• Renovate existing electrical installations to improve functionality or comply with updated codes.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and adheres to industry standards.

Requirements

• Electrical License (Preferred)
• Mid-level electrical experience
• Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints
• Experience with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems
• Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in electrical work
• Strong maintenance skills, including frame carpentry for installation purposes
• Ability to troubleshoot using voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
