About the position

The Electrician 2 - Service position at Compu Dynamics involves joining a skilled Electrical Service Team responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems in data center facilities. The role requires a strong background in electrical systems, with a focus on ensuring functionality and compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and execute repairs while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Routinely inspect electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures, and other components to ensure functionality and compliance with codes.
• Determine reasons for malfunctions and create maintenance or repair plans.
• Repair electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, and equipment to maintain full functionality.
• Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of low and high voltage systems.
• Work on transformers and motors as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues and make recommendations for resolution.
• Requisition materials, tools, and equipment while maintaining inventory.
• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit as required.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment for installations or service.
• Provide timely documentation of work performed.
• Drive company vehicle throughout service area while adhering to local laws and safety protocols.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6+ years of experience in the service field
• 4+ years of experience in commercial electrical work
• Journeyman license or equivalent electrical training and experience
• Valid driver's license in good standing

• Corresponding military codes: 3E051, 12R, 270
