About the position

This position is for an electrical apprentice in Watford City, North Dakota, requiring a commitment of 60 hours per week with opportunities for additional hours. The role involves assisting journeymen with installation tasks, reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints, and performing various electrical tasks under supervision. The job offers a competitive hourly wage with guaranteed overtime and per diem for meals and lodging.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets drawings, blueprints, and electrical code
• Assists Journeyman with installation tasks
• Measures, cuts, and bends wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current and valid driver's license with clean driving record
• OSHA 10 Certificate, or ability to obtain upon hire
• H2S Certificate, or ability to obtain upon hire
• Must be enrolled in state approved apprenticeship program or have ability to enroll upon hire
• 1st Year Apprentice: ~2,000 hours of experience
• 2nd Year Apprentice: ~4,000 cumulative hours of experience
