About the position

This position is for an electrical apprentice in Watford City, North Dakota, requiring a commitment of 60 hours per week with opportunities for additional hours. The role involves assisting journeyman electricians with various installation tasks and gaining proficiency in specialized electrical work. The position offers competitive pay rates for both standard and overtime hours, along with per diem for daily expenses.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets drawings, blueprints, and electrical code
• Assists Journeyman with installation tasks
• Measures, cuts, and bends wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current and valid driver's license with clean driving record
• OSHA 10 Certificate, or ability to obtain upon hire
• H2S Certificate, or ability to obtain upon hire
• Must be enrolled in state approved apprenticeship program or have ability to enroll upon hire
• 3rd Year Apprentice with approximately 6,000 cumulative hours
• 4th Year Apprentice with approximately 8,000 cumulative hours
