About the position

This full-time position involves traveling to job sites within the service area and working closely with dispatch to maintain the schedule and communicate any delays to customers. The role requires availability to work nights or weekends on a rotating basis to address emergency needs of customers. Responsibilities include maintaining the company vehicle in good working order, ensuring proper truck stock and safety equipment, generating customer invoices, documenting installed equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and participating in training opportunities. The position also involves identifying potential opportunities for new systems and services, adhering to company procedures and safety rules, and working collaboratively to ensure customer satisfaction while staying updated on mechanical and electrical codes.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to job sites in service area and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are communicated to customers.
  • Be available to work nights or weekends on a rotating basis for emergency service needs.
  • Maintain good working order of company vehicle, including refueling, reporting mechanical issues, and submitting monthly vehicle inspection forms.
  • Maintain proper truck stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
  • Understand company pricing and generate customer invoices at their homes, processing credit card payments electronically.
  • Document all installed equipment including make, model, serial number, and type of system, along with necessary pictures.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and recommend solutions for customers' electrical systems.
  • Participate in company-provided training opportunities.
  • Identify potential opportunities for new systems, service agreements, and additional services.
  • Observe all company procedures and safety rules.
  • Work as part of the team to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date on all mechanical and electrical codes.

Requirements

  • Applicants must have at least a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience preferred but not required.
