About the position

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Electrician for their Bridgeport quarry in Chico, TX. This role involves performing essential maintenance tasks to ensure the operational efficiency of electrical systems and equipment within the plant. The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for conducting repairs, preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations while supporting the production goals of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic corrective, preventive, and predictive plant maintenance.
• Conduct electrical repair and maintenance involving disassembly, overhaul, assembly, and adjustments of crushing and screening or mobile equipment components.
• Maintain proper tool/parts inventory for specified jobs.
• Perform scale and automation checks for aggregate plants.
• Complete maintenance projects in a timely manner to ensure production goals are met.
• Maintain up-to-date emails on all equipment repairs.
• Ensure that all equipment repairs are performed accurately to manufacturer standards.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Assist with physical inspections of plant property/departments and report unsafe conditions and/or accidents.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or certification strongly preferred.
• Prefer 2 years prior maintenance experience with an emphasis on electrical work.
• Open pit mining operations and aggregate products experience a plus.
• MSHA Part 46 training a plus.
