We are seeking to expand our Electrical team by adding both a Master Electrician and a Journeyman Electrician. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. The positions offer competitive pay and benefits, along with a sign-on bonus based on experience. The Journeyman Electrician will be tasked with troubleshooting electrical problems, producing effective solutions, and demonstrating a deep familiarity with various types of electrical systems and fixtures. This role requires the ability to read blueprints to understand how systems are designed to function and to repair electrical issues using a variety of tools and techniques. Adherence to OSHA safety requirements is essential, including the safe use of ladders, scaffolding, and platforms. A valid MA Journeyman Electrician License, along with a valid Driver's License and vehicle, is mandatory for this position. The Master Electrician will take on additional responsibilities, including installing, repairing, and servicing electrical systems, sourcing or fabricating replacement components, and interpreting blueprints. This role involves guiding and overseeing apprentices or journeyman electricians, drawing up preventative maintenance measures, and communicating these to clients and other electricians. The Master Electrician will also be responsible for obtaining necessary permits, tools, and materials for projects, testing and troubleshooting systems, and maintaining project records. Experience with generators and emergency power systems is preferred, and a current MA Master Electrician License is required, as this license will be used as the corporation's license.
