The Electrician (Per Diem) position at Aerotek involves performing electrical and mechanical assembly tasks, including panel wiring, while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and customer specifications. The role requires working under close supervision and following detailed instructions to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and mechanical assembly, panel wiring, adhering to safety, quality, and customer specifications.
• Assemble finished units per customer specifications, including pulling wire, crimping wire, installing, and testing wiring and wiring harnesses using voltmeter and ohmmeter.
• Perform part replacement on tools as needed and according to schedule.
• Resolve routine questions and problems, referring more complex issues to higher levels.
• Work under direct, close supervision, with output monitored frequently.
• Follow detailed written or verbal instructions, including visual aids, diagrams, and schematics.
• Ensure that assigned area is clean and organized per 5S standards.
• Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Coordinate with teammates to organize tasks requiring multiple team members to accomplish smaller group tasks.

Requirements

• Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent experience.
• Experience in electrical and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and diagrams.
• Familiarity with using voltmeters and ohmmeters.

Benefits

• Competitive hourly wage up to $40/hr.
