About the position
The Electrician position is responsible for coordinating with the supervisor and lead man on the installation of all rough and finish electrical work required in each unit during the regular operation schedule. The employee must perform rough in and final trim out of units in a timely and correct manner.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and help with layout and installation of electrical components.
- Coordinate with supervisor on material availability or shortages.
- Read and comprehend prints and schematics and relay information to crew.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems both AC/DC and data communication.
Requirements
- 2 years of commercial or residential electrical experience, DC circuitry, and/or automotive electrical knowledge.
- Ability to carry out both simple and complex oral and written instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
- Ability to read blueprints and/or drawings.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and/or move 5 pounds and over frequently.
- Ability to comprehend additional training related to work duties.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with DC and/or data communication systems.
