About the position
The Electrician position at Boyd Gaming Corporation involves performing various electrical tasks essential for the installation and maintenance of electrical systems within the company's facilities. The role requires a combination of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical devices and systems.
Responsibilities
- Pull wire, bend conduit, install and wire up electrical devices
- Trace wiring and troubleshoot problems
- Assist in load-testing generator packages
- Assist in other phases of preparation and setting of power generation equipment and products such as trenching, piping, mechanical components, and civil assembly for setting power packages
- Read blueprints
- Perform proper installation of all electrical equipment required to complete projects (i.e. brackets, conduit, wiring, end devices, panels, etc.)
- Be proficient with measuring and electrical testing equipment
- Promote good welfare among the company and its divisions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must have previous electrical experience
- High School Diploma or GED
