The position requires strong schematic reading skills for functionality and installation, as well as troubleshooting skills on various types of manufacturing high-speed automated equipment. The candidate must be able to set up, troubleshoot, and install AC/DC drives and motor control circuits. A working knowledge of high voltage, switch gears, and sub-station equipment is essential. The role involves operating digital test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, DMMs, and analyzers/data loggers. The candidate must be capable of diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and processes. Additionally, the role includes executing and improving asset strategies, evaluating, developing, and executing preventative maintenance (PM) routes, making recommendations on spare parts strategies, and developing and executing focused improvement plans during outage opportunities. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and regularly stand, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance on a continuous basis.
