About The Position

This position is responsible for insuring the integrity and safe working condition of all shop and billboard mounted electrical components/systems.

Requirements

• Must have 2 years minimum electrical experience
• Ability to climb and work safely at elevated heights, 60ft or more
• Read blueprints and schematic
• Ability to troubleshoot and fix electrical problems
• Electrical candidate should be a licensed electrician or be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge and experience to meet the definition of a qualified person in a sign/billboard work environment
• Must have experience working with voltages from 120 to 240 single and three phase

Responsibilities

• Installation and repair of wiring and conduit within the scope of the NEC (National Electrical Code)
• Repair and maintenance of electrical fixtures and control equipment (Time Clock)
• Able to set and program time clocks
• Planning for new or modified installations to minimize waste of material, provide access for future maintenance, lock all disconnects when leaving sign
• Install equipment such as lighting fixtures, relays, ballast, breakers disconnects circuit breakers and fuses. Fasten in place with screws or bolts
• Use the lock out tag out method
• Identify and promptly report any unsafe conditions observed
