About the position

The Licensed or Non-Licensed Electrician is responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in compliance with industry standards and specifications. This role involves working with various electrical components, diagnosing issues, and ensuring a safe work environment while adhering to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components, and devices.
• Install and mount electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and components.
• Perform interlock wiring as required.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices.
• Inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine material requirements and installation procedures.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools.
• Read contract drawings and troubleshoot EMS systems, smart breakers, and relays.

Requirements

• Four (4) years of experience working in the electrical industry.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Commitment to excellence and high-quality work.
• Ability to consistently report to work on time and maintain a safe work environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Possess a journeyman's license in the appropriate jurisdiction.
• Current journeyman's license is preferred.
