Electrician

The Electrician position at Galloway Electric LLC is an entry-level role designed for individuals with no prior experience, as the employer provides training. The primary focus of this role is to assist in various electrical tasks, maintain a clean work environment, and support senior electricians in their duties. Responsibilities

• Helps in securing, relocating and organizing materials, small tools, and equipment from and back to appropriate storage areas.
• Keeps work area clean by collecting and disposing of scrap, excess materials, and refuse.
• Keeps materials and tools clean and organized in an orderly fashion.
• Assists in pulling wire, lifting, hoisting and positioning materials.
• May operate less complicated hand tools and equipment under direct supervision of a Foreman or more senior electrician.
• Digs trenches by use of hand tools.
• Assists in mounting and strapping.
• May assist more senior personnel in less complicated electrical installations under close supervision.
• Performs other project related duties and assignments as instructed by supervisor.
• Meets attendance standards and complies with late/absence notification procedures.
• Layouts work and preps materials for installations.
• Troubleshoots and resolves problems in electrical circuits, systems and equipment.

Requirements

• No prior experience required, employer will train.
• Ability to comprehend forms in space and understand relationships of plane and solid objects, useful for tasks such as blueprint reading.
• Ability to manipulate materials and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
