About the position
Pennum Inc is seeking experienced Electricians to join our team in Bay City, TX. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $26.00 to $33.00, with the potential for higher earnings based on experience and skill level. The work schedule will consist of 7-12 hour shifts, including both day and night shifts, and the duration of the job is expected to be approximately 4 weeks. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for performing all journeyman electrician activities, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), and supervising electrical installations. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to analyze and propose solutions in the field. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in the electrical trade and should be proficient in servicing and replacing AC and DC motors ranging from 1/4hp to 250hp. Familiarity with various electrical meters, including capacitance and inductance meters, ground meters, scope, and power meters, is essential for this position. While a TX Master Electrician license is preferred, it is not a strict requirement. All candidates will be subject to drug screening and testing as part of the hiring process.
Responsibilities
- Perform all journeyman electrician activities.
- Comply with all items described in the Electrician profile.
- Analyze and propose solutions in the field.
- Perform installations according to the NEC.
- Supervise electrical installations.
- Service and replace AC and DC motors from 1/4hp up to 250hp.
- Utilize electrical meters such as capacitance and inductance meters, ground meters, scope, and power meters.
