About the position

The Electro-Mechanical Mechanic position at Marley Engineered Products involves performing both emergency and scheduled maintenance on equipment and infrastructure. The role is critical in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of machinery, with a focus on troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, conducting preventative maintenance, and collaborating with the maintenance team to implement improvements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary resource for the maintenance team for process/machine control issues.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, identify the root cause, and return the equipment to safe, efficient operating conditions.
• Perform scheduled corrective maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance on schedule per assigned task instructions on equipment and systems.
• Identify improvement opportunities and work with the Maintenance Leader and Manufacturing Engineers to develop and implement a solution.
• Maintain industrial electrical systems, including wiring 480V 3PH equipment, troubleshooting electric circuits & controls, and replacing or installing electric components (i.e., sensors, switches).
• Responsible for safe work habits, housekeeping of assigned work areas, and quality of work.
• Record work performed, parts used, and time required in the Maintenance Management System.

Requirements

• Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and safety practices.
• Ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery.
