About the position

The Electrical Mechanical Technician position at Trillium Staffing involves assembling components, sub-assemblies, and systems according to customer specifications. The role requires diagnosing malfunctions, operating hand tools, conducting final inspections, and assisting in the development of new equipment while maintaining workplace safety. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for immediate direct hire based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components, sub-assemblies, and systems to customer specifications.
• Diagnose malfunctions in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Set up and operate a variety of hand tools.
• Complete final inspections of assembled products.
• Assist in the development of new equipment.
• Maintain safety within the workplace.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology preferred, not required.
• 2-4+ years of working experience in Electrical or Mechanical Assembly required.
• Experience in both Electrical and Mechanical assembly is a huge plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and/or schematics preferred.
• Panel or Cabinet building experience strongly desired.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience assembling control panels and cabinets.
• Electrical wiring experience.
