About the position

The Electrical Mechanical Technician role at Trillium Staffing involves assembling components, sub-assemblies, and systems according to customer specifications. The technician will diagnose malfunctions, operate various hand tools, conduct final inspections, assist in developing new equipment, and maintain workplace safety. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in mechanical and electrical assembly, particularly in a manufacturing or OEM environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components, sub-assemblies, and systems to customer specifications.
• Diagnose malfunctions and troubleshoot issues.
• Set up and operate a variety of hand tools.
• Complete final inspections of assembled products.
• Assist in the development of new equipment.
• Maintain safety standards within the workplace.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology preferred, but not required.
• 2-4+ years of working experience in Electrical or Mechanical Assembly required.
• Experience in both Electrical and Mechanical assembly is a huge plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and/or schematics preferred.
• Panel or Cabinet building experience strongly desired.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience assembling control panels and cabinets.
• Electrical wiring experience.
