About the position
The Electrical Mechanical Technician will be responsible for assembling components, sub-assemblies, and systems to customer specifications. This role involves diagnosing malfunctions, setting up and operating various hand tools, completing final inspections, assisting in the development of new equipment, and maintaining safety within the workplace. The position is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for immediate direct hire based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components, sub-assemblies, and systems to customer specifications.
- Diagnose malfunctions in electrical and mechanical systems.
- Set up and operate a variety of hand tools.
- Complete final inspections of assembled products.
- Assist in the development of new equipment.
- Maintain safety within the workplace.
Requirements
- 2-4+ years working experience in Electrical or Mechanical Assembly, required.
- Experience in both Electrical and Mechanical assembly is a huge plus!
- Ability to read blueprints and/or schematics, preferred.
- Panel or Cabinet building experience, strongly desired.
Nice-to-haves
- Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology preferred, not required.
- Previous experience assembling control panels and cabinets, preferred.
- Electrical wiring experience is a huge plus!
