The role supports new programs within the Production and Manufacturing Center in Laurel, MD, and requires the ability to work independently on complex assemblies while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire electro-mechanical assemblies using schematics.
  • Solder and crimp mechanical assemblies as required.
  • Test assemblies using tools such as network analyzers and signal generators.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Two years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience in mechanical assembly concepts.
  • Knowledge of use, repair, and maintenance of machines and tools.
  • Ability to read drawings and bill of materials.
  • Manual dexterity and precision soldering skills.
  • IPC Certification required.
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
  • Proficiency in English Language and Math.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with electronics testing and measuring devices such as Vector Network Analyzer and multimeter.
  • Troubleshooting skills for complex assemblies.
