About the position

The Electromechanical Assembler position at Trystar is a critical role within the manufacturing environment, focusing on the assembly of high-quality portable power distribution boxes. This position emphasizes safety, integrity, and customer focus, contributing to Trystar's mission of delivering innovative power solutions across various industries. The assembler will work in a high-volume setting, ensuring that products meet required specifications while adhering to standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Understand job orders and interact with Epicor.
  • Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Complete and maintain all required paperwork necessary for operations, including daily production reports and scrap reports.
  • Maintain and operate hand tools and power tools.
  • Perform required quality control checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read instructions and safely operate machines.
  • Ability to visually inspect parts produced for quality assurance.
  • Accuracy and timeliness in completion of work assignments.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
  • Adherence to PPE requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Technical secondary education is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and accurate data entry experience.
  • Ability to perform simple mathematics for process sheets and SOP manuals.
  • Basic understanding of blueprints, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly.
  • Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Good hand dexterity and grip strength.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Analytical thinker with proven problem-solving ability.
