About the position

The Electromechanical Technician role at CEVA Logistics involves performing emergency and predictive maintenance on electromechanical conveyor systems. The technician will utilize technical expertise to diagnose and repair various system failures, ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment. This position emphasizes the importance of safety, customer service, and maintaining a clean work environment while contributing to the overall success of the logistics operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform emergency and predictive maintenance procedures on electromechanical conveyor systems.
  • Conduct routine and periodic inspections to determine necessary repair and maintenance work.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, and control system failures using accepted diagnostic procedures.
  • Maintain and calibrate microprocessor-based control equipment and electrical control systems.
  • Manage tasks, projects, and priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Keep the work area clean and orderly and assist in facility maintenance as needed.
  • Perform all work in conformance with safe work practices.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years related experience as an electromechanical technician.
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP principles and Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
  • Working knowledge of pneumatic control systems, Allen Bradley PLC Systems, and 3 phase (480V) Circuits.
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  • Proficient in MS Windows and Microsoft Office applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate in arts or science degree in Electromechanical or relevant technical disciplines preferred.
  • PLC Technician certification.
  • Minimum 2 years industry experience.
