About the position

The Electromechanical Technician at Flux Marine plays a crucial role in supporting the engineering and production teams in the development, testing, and assembly of innovative all-electric outboard motors and high voltage energy storage systems. This position emphasizes hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, ensuring that the products meet high standards of efficiency and performance without relying on traditional combustion engine components.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the mechanical and production engineers with mechanical design and assembly tasks.
  • Completing build sequences within the production work cell.
  • Installing and performing diagnostic tests on electro-mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.
  • Documenting processes and maintaining basic records.
  • Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.
  • Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years' experience as an electromechanical technician in a related industry.
  • Knowledge of mechanical engineering designs and installations.
  • Proficiency in mechanical design and testing software.
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Great organizational and time management abilities.
