About the position

The Electromechanical Technician at Hidden Level is responsible for supporting the manufacturing, sustainment, and engineering activities of innovative drone detection and airspace technology. This role involves performing various electronic and electro-mechanical assembly tasks, troubleshooting, and ensuring the production schedule is met efficiently. The position requires a strong technical background and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Follow established unit test procedures and assembly work instructions to accomplish daily manufacturing operations
  • Perform a variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of production schedule
  • Build and rework multi-wire cable harnesses
  • Perform test and rework of printed circuit boards
  • Troubleshoot RF and digital failures down to component level
  • Use test stations and manual bench configurations to accomplish tasks
  • Plan technical support functions required to support engineering, manufacturing and development projects
  • Write up detailed data summary for discrepancy documentation to show results of test processes during the repair/troubleshooting process

Requirements

  • Associate Science (A.S.) or Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Electronics Technology or High School diploma and 3 years of related experience in a lab or production environment
  • Ability to use a variety of mechanical tools and electronic test equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, etc.)
  • Possess mechanical aptitude and have small tool skills
  • Ability to interpret and work from electronic schematics, blueprints, and test specifications/instructions
  • Solid computer skills including the use of MS Office and Internet browsers
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Experience working in an ESD controlled environment

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with the use of Linux command line
  • Background in Radio Frequency (RF) theory and/or operation
  • IPC J-STD-001 Solder certification
