About the position

The Electro-Mechanical Technician at Keurig Dr Pepper is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on pneumatic machines and line equipment within a manufacturing facility. This full-time role requires a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, with a focus on troubleshooting and programming PLCs. The technician will work on a 2-2-3 night shift schedule, ensuring the smooth operation of complex manufacturing equipment while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform project management duties related to maintenance and repairs of pneumatic machines and line equipment.
  • Calibrate microprocessor-based control equipment and repair/install general instrumentation and electrical control systems.
  • Read and understand relay logic for troubleshooting and repair purposes.
  • Conduct tests and calibration procedures using various test equipment including multimeters and data recorders.
  • Troubleshoot and change PLC programming as needed.
  • Install panel boxes, remote control equipment, motors, and power and lighting circuits.
  • Work independently on electrical jobs while adhering to safe work practices.
  • Diagnose, plan, and perform operations necessary to install, modify, troubleshoot, and repair complex manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and monitor equipment condition.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with other technicians and production personnel.
  • Provide support and substitute for EMT Lead, including training and coaching machine operators.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas and comply with safety standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in maintenance within a large production facility.
  • 2 years of experience troubleshooting and programming PLCs.
  • 2 years of working knowledge of mechanical systems.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 lbs as needed.
