About the position

The Electronic Banking Specialist at Royal Business Bank plays a crucial role in managing the bank's electronic banking functions. This position operates under general supervision and is responsible for setting up, monitoring, and addressing customer service inquiries related to electronic banking services. The specialist ensures compliance with all relevant regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, while providing high-quality customer service to both internal and external clients. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage various electronic banking products and services, ensuring that all operations align with the bank's policies and procedures. In this position, the specialist will handle a variety of electronic banking functions, including business online banking, merchant remote deposit, business bill pay, ACH originations, and business online wire transfers. The specialist will also be responsible for responding to customer inquiries regarding product usage and system operations, monitoring online customer interactions, and reviewing ACH file transfer reports. Additionally, the role involves maintaining the integrity of the electronic banking system by reviewing and deleting inactive business online banking users on a semi-annual basis. The Electronic Banking Specialist will also perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the bank's electronic banking services.

Responsibilities

  • Set up/input and maintain all electronic banking functions for business online banking, merchant remote deposit, business bill pay, ACH originations, and business online wire.
  • Handle all electronic banking product offerings, processes, and customer inquiries; provide high-quality customer service.
  • Respond to inquiries, internal and external, on product usage and system operations.
  • Monitor and respond to online customer inquiries.
  • Review ACH file transfer report.
  • Review EBanking Daily Report - EBB/EBC.
  • Review and delete inactive business online banking users on a semi-annual basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • AA degree or equivalent education.
  • Bank branch operations experience; knowledge of banking regulations.
  • PC literate and detail-oriented.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Mandarin) is a plus.
