About the position

The Electronic Business Systems Analyst II plays a crucial role in analyzing, coding, configuring, and testing electronic platform artifacts across various vendor-supported platforms. This position serves as a liaison between Jackson's business units, vendors, and project teams, ensuring effective communication and support for technology enhancements and feed testing. The Analyst is expected to possess advanced knowledge of vendor operations and Jackson's business model, enabling them to address production support issues and implement risk mitigation strategies effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, code, configure, unit test, and promote electronic platform artifacts to various platforms.
  • Provide support for delivery teams, business users, and electronic vendor partners for feed testing and technology enhancements.
  • Adhere to and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical standards.
  • Partner with team members to understand problems and recommend solutions.
  • Activate risk mitigation recovery plans based on issue severity and service level agreements.
  • Meet or exceed project timelines and communicate potential project risks.
  • Perform data analysis to identify necessary data elements for business decisions.
  • Provide 2nd level technical support and consultation within the domain.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and refine features/user stories.
  • Design solutions and provide architectural recommendations.
  • Review vendor release documentation and guide updates required.
  • Troubleshoot downstream impacts of implemented development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and/or education required.
  • 3+ years of business-related experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Lean and Agile principles, systems, and tools.
  • Demonstrated record of successful, complex project completion.
  • Ability to explain and communicate advanced technical concepts clearly.
  • Solid understanding of Annuity business and products.

Nice-to-haves

  • Financial services and customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience with Ebix, iPipeline, Insurance Technologies, DTCC, DST, Envestnet, FIDx, or other Electronic Business financial services systems preferred.
  • ACORD certification preferred.
