About the position

e3 Diagnostics is seeking a Field Service Technician (Sales & Service Tech) to join our team. This position is responsible for providing technical support and service for audiological instrumentation, including calibration, maintenance, and repairs. The technician will work independently within a designated territory, primarily covering Orange County, Riverside County, and San Bernardino County, and will be the key point of contact for customers regarding their equipment needs.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for calibration, maintenance, equipment repairs and installations on a wide range of audiology equipment.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships, providing service and technical support for all e3 equipment offerings.
  • Ensure calibration and preventative maintenance is completed as scheduled according to service agreements.
  • Collaborate with Office Administrator to ensure scheduling of equipment calibrations is as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer contact and equipment.
  • Prospect for new service and generate sales leads for Regional Sales Manager follow up.
  • Travel to customer locations within assigned territory, working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Responsible for calibration of equipment received at the regional office; schedule return to customer when completed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2 year Technical or Engineering degree or related experience required in lieu of degree/certificate.
  • Effective verbal & written communication skills with a professional appearance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a clear driving record.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in customer service for at least 1 year.
